AUDITORY PROCESSING DEFICITS 
Delayed onset of speech and language milestones, in an otherwise normally developing child
Chronic ear infections, starting before age one
Difficulty learning the alphabet
Difficulty playing rhyming games or games like pig latin
Frequently asks to have information repeated
Failure to follow commands
Difficulty repeating long, complex words
Difficulty learning to spell and read
Difficulty sounding out words
   
VISUAL PROCESSING DEFICITS 
Trouble copying
Frequently loses place when reading
A short attention span
Inability to concentrate when reading
Tilting the head or rubbing one eye
Reversal of numbers and letters
Confusing the order of numbers
Excessive effort required to do classwork
Omission and/or substitution of small words when reading aloud
Difficulty with writing
TIMING, CONCENTRATION AND MOTOR PROCESSING DEFICITS   
Clumsy Delayed response time for verbal and visual motor tasks
Uncoordinated Problems staying in rhythm when singing or dancing
Difficulty with transitioning Problems staying in rhythm when tapping or clapping
Tactile defensiveness: overly sensitive to clothing, shoes, tags. Snappy, chaotic motor movements
Delayed mastery of sitting, crawling and/or walking Previously diagnosed as having Attention Deficit Disorder, with or without Hyperactivity
Delayed mastery of tying shoes, buttoning shirt and/or using utensils
